OEM Vacuum Cleaner Sample Checklist for Importers and Retail Buyers

2026-10-23 0 Leave me a message

A practical checklist for matching the sample, floor head, electrical version, filters, packaging and claims.

An OEM vacuum cleaner sample is not only a chance to see the colour. It is the physical reference for the floor head, motor, cup, filter, cord, plug, voltage, frequency, packaging and every claim that may appear in a listing. A disciplined checklist prevents a buyer from approving one sample while the quotation or carton describes another. Treat the sample review as a release gate rather than a showroom visit. Every observed result should carry the sample code, test condition and reviewer, while every unresolved difference should remain open until the supplier submits a traceable revision. This turns approval into a record the quality, marketing and purchasing teams can all use during production and after launch.

The useful answer is usually a sequence of small checks rather than one dramatic specification. Walk through the routine below, then test the exact configuration if you are buying for a retail programme. Keep a short written record of the floor, head, filter, power version and anything that changed during the route; it will make the final decision easier to explain.

Give the sample one unambiguous identity

Start with supplier, model, configuration code, sample date and revision. Photograph the front, side, underside of the floor head, electrical label and included parts. If a second sample differs in colour or head, give it a new code. This simple discipline prevents comments such as approved from being applied to the wrong physical unit.

Verify the electrical version before performance

Match plug, rated voltage, frequency, cord specification, switch and label to the destination market before running the sample. A detachable cord must still be an approved part of the same version. Record cord length and strain relief. Do not continue a performance test with an improvised adapter or an electrical mismatch; resolve the configuration first.

Test OEM sample checklist in the real cleaning route

Tie every number to a test condition

Record what the 270 W input, above-25 kPa suction, below-75 dB noise and above-500-hour motor running-life results refer to. Note instrument, method, distance or load where applicable. These platform facts cannot be pasted onto a different head, controller or electrical version without confirmation. Keep the report reference with the sample approval file.

Test the floor head as a system

Confirm the independently powered roller motor, brush strip, wheels, swivel, inlet and electrical connection. Run the sample on the named carpet and hard floor using a repeatable debris load and number of passes. Record pickup, scattering, push effort, hair wrap and sound. Photograph the underside after the test so the approved roller is visible.

Check the final product configuration before making a claim

Inspect maintenance and replacement support

Remove and refit the 1.2 L transparent PC cup and the approved H12 or H13 filter using the draft manual. Note dust contact, latch feel, drying requirements and any tool needed for the roller. Request part numbers, replacement availability and service instructions. A sample cannot be considered retail-ready when the owner can clean with it but cannot restore it after use.

Match packaging, images and the golden sample

Lay the quotation, specification, manual, carton artwork, listing copy and generated images beside the sample. Check colour, finish, buttons, cup, filter, head, cord and included parts line by line. Remove any invented certification, logo or accessory. Sign and retain a golden sample only after the documents describe the same configuration.

Where the TEH platform fits

The documented TEH Corded Stick Vacuum Cleaner platform uses a 270 W high-voltage DC brushless motor, suction above 25 kPa and noise below 75 dB under the stated test conditions. It has an independently powered motorized roller floor head, a 1.2 L transparent PC cyclonic dust cup and H12 HEPA as standard. H13 HEPA is available as a higher-cost customization. The detachable power cord can be specified from 5 m to 10 m with destination-specific plug, voltage and frequency.

For repeated home cleaning, the platform can be specified around the floor, cord route and destination market. The product section should still be read with the stated test conditions: a floor head, carpet, filter and user routine can change the experience. Treat the generated colour as an editorial concept until the factory confirms the production finish.

For importers and OEM buyers

A vacuum cleaner manufacturer or vacuum cleaner supplier should keep the approved sample, quotation, specification, instruction manual, packaging and online copy aligned. For an OEM vacuum cleaner or private label vacuum cleaner, record the final floor head, dust cup, filter grade, cord length, plug, voltage, frequency and replacement parts before launch. If a claim depends on a specific floor or test method, keep that condition in the internal file instead of turning it into an absolute promise.

Frequently Asked Questions

What belongs in an OEM vacuum sample checklist?

Identity, electrical version, documented tests, floor head, cup, filter, maintenance, parts, packaging and claims.

Can one approved sample cover several configurations?

No. Functional or electrical differences need separate codes and confirmation.

When is a golden sample ready?

Only after the physical product and all commercial and technical documents describe the same configuration.
